If your New Year resolution includes learning a new language or practicing your English, the library has just the right online language tool to help you succeed. From home, your handheld device, or one of the library’s public access Internet computers, click on the Mango Languages graphic on our website at www.brocktonpubliclibrary.org. Enter your library card number. You’ll find an international world of language learning with many new language offerings. For English speakers, learn Chinese-Mandarin, Chinese-Cantonese, French, Italian, Russian, Latin American Spanish, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, or Brazilian Portuguese. For those wanting to learn English, there are courses using Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese languages to help you get started. If you have neighbors or friends whose first language is not English, why not tell them about Brockton Public Library’s online language learning tool? For yourself and family, Mango Languages is a great way to start off everyone’s New Year.
